WBKRDB Welcome Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to Darjeeling hills

September 4, 2018: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has reached Darjeeling on Monday at around 9 pm. During her journey to Darjeeling from Bagdogra airport, West Bengal Khambu Rai Development Board (WBKRDB) had Welcome group members at four places in the hills, one was in Simulbari, near Sukna, second was in Kurseong, 3rd was in Ghoom railway station and there was 4th group in Darjeeling railway station. There were huge gatherings of Khambu Rai people to welcome chief minister Mamata Banerjee at all four places.

With full traditional attire and Sili groups, members of West Bengal Khambu Rai Development Board, were able to offer Khambu Byathabung (khada) and whole heartedly welcome chief minister Mamata Banerjee in Darjeeling hills.

During the three-day visit of chief minister Mamata Banerjee, she has scheduled to hand over cheques to the Khambu Rai beneficiaries at Chowrasta on Wednesday.
