Darjeeling, June 5: West Bengal Khambu Rai Development Board observed the World Environment Day by planting three thousands saplings in Tukhvar Tea garden, Darjeeling on June 5. The management of Tukhvar Tea estate was very helpful and allowed to plant tree saplings in the road side of garden. During the occasion, Smt Sushma Rai, president nari morcha Darjeeling, was also present. More than 100 members of KKRSS from Singtam, Tukhvar 2nd and 4th division, Tamsang, Rampuria etc were presents and volunteered the programme to plant the 3000 saplings successfully in a day.
