The Chairman West Bengal Khambu Rai Developement Board (WBKRDB) visited Mirik Mahkuma on 7th. May 2017.

Met the beneficiaries of various areas and discussed with them their difficulties and interacted with other Khambu Rais residing in the areas and also discussed the progress of the construction of Khambu Khim under Yalamber Khim Scheme. Executive Member, Sri Dipraj Rai and the Vice President, Kirati Khambu Rai Sanskritik Sansthan, Mirik Mahakuma Sri Kailash Rai also accompanied and took part in the deliberation. It was also mentioned that the allotment of Khambu Khim is very meager in contrast to the poor Khambu Rai population and it was to be requested to the concerned authority for increasing the allotment of more houses in the future.
