September 23, 2018: As per the commitment made by the West Bengal Khambu Rai Development Board Chairman Shri Dipraj Rai, to visit grassroots level in the hills, he has been visiting remote places of the hills and interacting with rural Khambu Rai people.

Accordingly, WBKRDB chairman, Shri Dipraj Rai was in Salu Tea estate, Merybong, Tardhura, under Bijanbari block, about 30 km away from Darjeeling, and visited the house construction sites of Beneficiaries along with Board Member Shri Janam Rai, where government houses are under construction, distributed by WBKRDB.  During the visit, he also interacted with the unit heads and representatives of Kirati Khambu Rai Sanskritik Sansthan, Shri KM Rai, Pravat Rai, Mani Prasad Rai etc.
