Mirik, June 7: Skill development programme on various Khambu Rai culture held in Mirik on June 4, 5 and 6. Training was given on various Khambu Rai culture such as Khambu sili dances, which is performed in different occasions and seasons. Senior Khambu cultural experts were the resource persons for the three days skill development programme organised by West Bengal Khambu Rai Board.

Distinguished Khambu Rai personalities such Mr. L B Rai, president Hill TMC, Mr. Shanka Mani Rai, acting Chairman of West Bengal Khambu Rai Development Board etc., were present during the opening and closing ceremony of programme. Certificates were distributed at the closing ceremony by distinguished guests to the trainees. Overall, the programme was successful and satisfactory.
