Kalimpong, October 5, 2018: Kalimpong unit Block II, organized a felicitation and interactive programme at Mongsong Jalsa Bonglow premises today. During the occasion, Chairman Dipraj Rai was also felicitated by the people of Kalimpong block II unit. The programme was presided over by chief convener Shri Arun Tamkule. Various Khambu representatives of Khambu Rai Sanskritik Sansthan from Kalimpong were present. Kalimpong unit also submitted a memorandum to Board chairman.

Various problems and issues of Khambu Rai people at ground level were discussed, where Development Board may come to rescue of Khambu people. Accordingly, Chairman Shri Dipraj Rai has assured his complete possible support to uplift the Khambu community. He also urged for the unity of Khambu community, emphasized tradition and culture awareness campaign among the new generations and economy driven activities for the community.
