Few proud Khambu beneficiaries, whose houses are under construction by Khambu Rai Development Board at given sites.
A meeting of the executive members of the West Bengal Khambu Rai Developement Board was held today 20th. October, in the Office of the Board at Old Super Market, Darjeeling. The meeting was presided by the Chairman Shri M.S. Rai and attended by other executive members, Shri Sankhamani Rai, Vice Chairman, Pradeep Rai, M.C.Rai, Susil Rai, Deepraj Rai, JR Dewan, Nisandas Rai, Mahendra Rai, Janam Rai, and Sankar Rai, coordinator, Paras Rai, Mrs. Somina Rai.
The meeting among others decided that the Supervising and Monitoring committee should be revamped and strictly follow the construction of Yalamber Khim according to the plan and with the best building material. They should draw up plans for delivery of building materials and streamline smooth delivery and complete the 250 houses by 15th of December.
The meeting also decided on submission of schemes to the Principal Secretary, BCW Department for facilitating of fund allotment for various schemes to be undertaken by the Khambu Rai Development Board in the near future.
