Kalimpong, November 27: A meeting of the West Bengal Khambu Rai Developement Board (WBKRDB) Members of Kalimpong Mahakuma was held today at Kalimpong KKRSS office. Beside the members of the WBKRDB from different Sakhas (unit) of the Kirati Khambu Rai Sanskritik Sansthan (KKRSS) who were entrusted with the monitoring of the schemes  also attended. There was a threadbare discussion regarding the selection of beneficiaries, construction and monitoring of the Yalamber Khim, the delay in actual field work and if everything goes smoothly after the present member secretary hands over the charge, all committed to work and complete the schemes in time.

Beside the Yalamber khim other projects like cultural aspects, language teaching, publication of language book, seminar and training on Sili dance, tution for final students, career advancement, enhancing livelihood activities, traditional sports of archery, raising seedlings for tree plantation, drinking water, community hall, soil conservation works were discussed.

At the beginning of the meeting Miss Aachal Tamang, Mobilising Officer, IL& FS Skills, Kalimpong gave a good presentation about skill developement and the current program of the same in which we have decided to select 60 trainees from Kalimpong Mahakuma for  for the next session of the training in skill developement to be held in Kalimpong.
