September 15, 2018: Kirati Khambu Rai Sanskritik Sansthan (KKRSS), an association of Khambu Rai of Darjeeling hills, felicitated Shri Dipraj Rai, new chairman of West Bengal Khambu Rai Development Board at GDNS, Darjeeling on September 15. Shri Dipraj Rai has taken over the chairmanship of West Bengal Khambu Rai Development Board on July 31, following the government Notification issued on July 31, 2018.

Chief Patron of KKRSS, Shri C. R. Rai, former WBKRDB chairman Shri MS Rai, KKRSS president Shri Tara Kumar Rai, General Secretary Binita Khambu Rai and KKRSS branch Presidents and Secretaries from Darjeeling, Kurseong, Kalimpong and Dooars were present during the felicitation programme.

During the occasion, Shri Dipraj Rai has assured the possible support and cooperation of Khambu Rai Development Board to KKRSS and said that he shall visit all the units of KKRSS at grassroots level and find out the performances of representatives of KKRSS, accordingly houses will be distributed to the needy beneficiaries, it will help strengthening the KKRSS from grassroots level.
