Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of West Bengal, has sanctioned a sum of Rs. 2 crore fifty lakh as a Grant-in-Aid to West Bengal Khambu Rai Development Board with the purpose of development activities for the Khambu Rai community of Darjeeling hills. The Grant was sanctioned on November 21, 2020.
