October 3, 2018: It was the second General Board Meeting called by the new chairman Shri Dipraj Rai, following the notification issued on July 31, 2018. Meeting was chaired by Shri Dipraj, there were 22 Board Members and Member Secretary Shri Kausik Chaterjee were present out of total 31 Board members including five government nominated officials.

Total 10 Resolutions were adopted during the Board meeting and chalked out future course of actions. Chairman encouraged Board members to take part actively on the Board issues and expected the support of Board members to function board smoothly. Member Secretary Shri Kausik Chaterjee, explained about the new circular issued by the government on Home-stay distributions and construction, also elucidated the new notification to exclude Siliguri, Tarai and Dooars from the jurisdiction of hills Development Boards.
