Dipraj Rai, chairman of Khambu Rai Development Board, had a surprise field visit to Takhvar, Singtam, Harsing-Lebong, Yanku-Lebong valley under Bijanbari block, Darjeeling. The visit was on January 10, 2020 along with Board office staff Mr. Milan Rai, visited about 30 houses issued by the Khambu Rai Development Board.

The objectives of this field visit was to see the quality of housing materials and supply of materials delivered on time or not. It was also the verification of houses provided by the Khambu Rai Development Board.

During the visit, Chairman interacted with the beneficiaries and tried to find out the problems being faced by the beneficiaries. Almost all the beneficiaries were satisfied and happy about the works and supports given by Khambu Rai Development Board.
