September 30, 2018: Chaques of Rs. 1 lakh each were distributed to three fire victims, who have suffered during 105 days strike in 2017. Many houses were gutted to fire in Takhvar constituency during the last year strike, among them, three were Khambu Rais, who were even enlisted in the district administration priority list. The programme was conducted in presence of Chairman Shri Dipraj Rai and Member Secretary Shri Kausik Chaterjee. The three victims were Tamanna Rai, Rohit Rai and Sujana Rai.

The objective of chaque distribution was quick relief to the victims, which were pending since long.
