Chairman visits five villages in a day

September 25, 2018: Since the office of West Bengal Khambu Rai Development Board was taken over by Shri Dipraj Rai as a new chairman of the Khambu Rai Board following the notification on July 31, he has been constantly visiting beneficiary’s houses at remote sites.

Accordingly, on September 22, chairman visited five villages under Nagri Farm and Magarjung, Sukia block, from early morning to dusk. During the occasion, he examined Khambu houses which are under construction and interacted with the beneficiaries, widow, Khambu Rai BPL people of Nagri, Limbu gaon, Modi gaon, Bahadur gaon and Jitu gaon. He also came across poorest of poor Khambu Rai family at Magarjung village, whose house was in such a poor and dilapidated state that chairman had to issue a house immediately at site.
