June 24, 2018: West Bengal Khambu Rai Development Board has again initiated Tree Plantation programme in Darjeeling at Singtam TE. More than 1500 tree saplings were planted in and around Singtam TE with the help of about hundred volunteers along with students. It was very encouraging that local school teachers and students were actively participated in the event and highlighted the importance of Tree plantation to students who were present during the event.

Vice Chairman, Mr. Shankhmani Rai was the chief guest of the event, also WBKRDB member Mrs. Sharda Rai Subba was present during the occasion. WBKRDB office staffs and KKRSS members were successfully conducted the Tree plantation programme.
